Zero service

I recently arrived by boat and moored outside this pub. I purposely asked the staff for the time that they finished serving and was told 2130. My party went into the pub and asked for a meal at 2105 only to be told the service had finished. They were clearing away the carvery even though there was food left. From the number of questions the staff were asking it sounded as they they were after the left overs. Crown Carvery need to investigate the management of this establishment as this has happened before.

Carvery

The food was good, especially for the price. The selection of three meats from the carvery meant a good variety. The vegetable selection was also good, and you did not feel empty afterwards. Very filling, and as long as you do not go on a Sunday, very well priced.
