Dog training and canine behaviour counselling, puppy classes, dog agility.
Tried a course some time ago now with Sarah. To solve dog on dog agression. Seemed very vague on courses, felt that she didnt have enough time for you. And contradicted herself regularly. Found when myself and other members tried to question her about our dogs/bitches behavior she gave a repetitive answer time and time again. Giving the impression you were not being listened to. When contacting her about the course I felt that she led me there under false protenses. When asked about this at the end of the course. She denied this and said "all the dogs we have, go on to our full course to improve once more". Which is a fair enough comment, I didnt expect miracles, but when you have had dogs for as long as me, and you go to someone more experienced for help, then they try to tell you what you are doing is wrong. Then when they "show you how to do it right" do it exactly the same. With the same results, and try to tell you "thats the way to do it, notice how it was better". I dont buy it. If you have an active dog, such as a sheepdog, collie, cattledog or retriever. She is probably the trainer for you, because these dogs are easy to work with, and she seems to prefer farm-animals. But if you have a dog like a terrier or a yorkie, it doesn't seem to get as much work. And then they try to push for more money/sessions later on! Be Cautious, and Aware of this one. Or you'll be the one taken for walkies!!
