New growth at A.P.C.

We have had a very busy year at the Apostolic Praise Centre, and have seen a number of new families join us, in the last few weeks. This has meant that we have had to speed up our preperations for childrens ministry, and bring forward our plans for a new childrens building on the site. Only today we had a local firm (TS Direct www.ts-direct.co.uk ) out to measure up for an extension on the main building. We are also making plans for a Church office and a Debt Advice Clinic to be on the site. More news on the church website www.apostolicpraisecentre.org.uk

American speakers visit A.P.C.

This week we have our friends James and Karen Hosack visiting us.They have been speaking for us and our sister church in Tunstall, their messages have been well received. We have had a number of joint meetings, a baptism service followed by BBQ on the saturday and a church meal following the sunday service. James and Karen are moving on to Ormskirk on thursday and later on to Howarth in North Yorkshire, finishing this trip with meetings in Northern Ireland. www.apostolicpraisecentre.org.uk

Expectations of even greater growth in 2009

2008 was an important year in the replanting of the church at the Apostolic Praise Centre, we saw at least 5 people becoming Christians, with a further 5 people going through the waters of Baptism.A number of people also received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.We held monthly Healing Schools with the Rev. Stephen Hales and saw a number of people receive their healing, notably a young girl with fallen arches and a balance problem. She felt the bones in her feet moving as the man of God layed hands on her feet, during the night she continued to feel movement in her feet, and the next day she was able to walk and run freely. She had never been able to carry drinks without spilling them, and since that day she has been able to carry drinks succesfully.This was a permanent healing as she is well today.2008 saw a number of people join us, and the church has an international flavour now, as we have people from Zimbabwe, Uganda, China and America as well as those from Stoke on TrentThe church is currently installing all the equipment for an upto date Praise and Worship ministry, using radio mikes and wide screen tv's with a vision for Video recording and live streaming of the services via the internet.The church web-site already hosts many audio recordings that are available to be down-loaded for free. These can be found at www.apostolicpraisecentre.org.uk There are also a number of evangelistic tools on the site as well as video documentaries concerning topics such as True or False conversions, Is the book of Mormon fiction or reality? and street evangelism.
