Verdon Guest House
This guest house in Hanley feels like something out of a time warp - but in the nicest possible way. The rooms have an old fashioned appeal about them, high ceilings making the rooms feel very spacious. The rooms are spotlessy clean, and very comfortable. There are tea/coffee making facilities, with fresh milk available whenever the guests want it. The breakfasts are substantial, nicely cooked, and well presented. The proprietor, and her staff, (and her dog!), are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The guesthouse itself is ideally sited on the very fringes of the town, within easy walking distance of the Potteries Shopping Centre, and a stone's throw from the Bus Station.
