Just returned from an hours trek at Cannock Chase Trekking Centre, with my daughter. Staff really friendly and not in the least condescending, as at some stables I have visited. They chatted to us all as we walked, and occasionally trotted, around the stunning countryside. We felt completely at ease and had a lovely time. As I suffer from arthritis I was concerned about dismounting and aware that it could have been quite embarrassing in front of a yard full of people. I need not have worried as the young lady who helped me was very discreet and didn't make me feel awkward at all. Obviously Lisa and her staff are experienced horse riders but they still understood, that to occasional riders, it was still a treat to walk around the countryside on horse back and at no time did they make us feel inferior in any way. Definitely worth a visit.
